I have another fun event to go to tomorrow so I took the day off today to prepare. I also have a huge amount of chores to accomplish and more soap to create. My goal this week was to make at least three soaps. I have not made any! So today I plan to also make two soaps, take some photos, etc etc. You get the idea. What I really want to do is either sit down and watch a marathon of twilight or go shopping! Neither of which I have the time to do. Now, I do think I will have twilight on in the background while I work.
I also finally got my awesome face balm up and on Etsy, two of which sold right away...and I only have one left. Which means I need to get on the ball and purchase the ingredients, since my own balm is also running low. This stuff will last at least a month though, as long as its used in moderation.

The above balm is for nighttime as it is a little heavy. It has so many terrific ingredients in it (Neem Oil, Rosehip Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Tea tree Oil, Argan Oil, etc). These oils are ultra expensive but most importantly, each has its own qualities that benefit skin.
Neem Oil is thought to be very effective antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral agent. Commonly used for eczema, psoriasis, rashes, burns and acne.
Long used for its antiseptic properties, Tea Tree is normally found in acne products. It is used in home remedies as an antiseptic, antifungal, and antibacterial agent.
Argan oil contains high levels of plant sterols. Plant sterols also known as sterolins, may improve skin metabolism, reduce inflammation and promote excellent moisture retention. Argan is said to also have anti-aging properties due to high levels of vitamin E, which is also helpful in protection from free radical damage.
Evening Primrose oil is associated with the treatment of skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and rosacea. The Evening Primrose flower produces gamma-linoleic (GLA), which is an essential fatty acid thought to contain properties that reduce inflammation.
Meadowfoam Oil contains over 98% long-chain fatty acids and is used for moisturizing and skin rejuvenation

I mean seriously...those are not the only qualities!
I have also created another terrific facial treatment. It is a mixture of oils that mainly are used for mature aging skin. Its contained in a roller bottle and smells heavenly (vanilla/sweet orange blend). It glides on smooth and is non greasy! I will post a picture of it later!
Now I must go and get the gremlins off to school and start my day!
